£12m car park at University Hospital Llandough, Cardiff - October 03, 2013
Work has been completed on a £12m multi-storey car park at University Hospital Llandough in Cardiff.
Working with Laing O’Rourke, Morgans Consult have completed the implementation of the signage scheme for the car park. This included a selection of bespoke height restriction barriers, suspended and wall mounted wayfinding systems, floor identifiers and fire safety signage.
The scheme will allow Cardiff and Vale University Health Board to progress in developing a new Adult Mental Health Unit on the site in conjunction with the Welsh Government and the Vale of Glamorgan Council. The planned 135-bed unit would be built on the site of the existing car park opposite the hospital's main entrance. It would bring together a range of specialist services on one site, in modern tailor-made facilities.
